Mac finished racing in mid December, and spelled before starting work mid Jan
Mac has a solid foundation on the flat, with lovely paces and natural presence. He moves nicely off the leg and carries himself in a nice frame. Still green but shows great potential in dressage or hacking
The buttons for leg yields etc are there and just needs miles to put it all together neatly but he is a quick learner and improves every ride.
Mac has been out to a few training days, pony club rallies, and events, and takes it all in his stride in new environments. Super brave jumper and careful with his legs, will definitely excel in this area if that’s where you want to go. The most lovely cross country ride, just bowls along and jumps everything!
He has been exposed to traffic, tractors, goats, dogs, and bicycles
He has an excellent brain and learns quickly, not worried by the world around him
Absolutely no buck/bolt/rear/bite or any vices under saddle, and a darling to handle on the ground, smoochy and sweet and loves attention!
Floats alone or with others, easy to saddle, rug, feed, do his feet etc
Feet, teeth, and worming up to date, needs to gain muscle but is at a good weight and is a naturally chunky fellow. Currently barefoot and doing well, may need shoes/boots on rocky ground or lots of road work
Mac is quiet enough to lead around my 5yo nephew on board, but needs a capable and confident rider to get the best out of him and continue his education. Not for beginners or nervous riders.
No separation anxiety, paddocked alone or with others, he is a dominant horse in a herd and likes to be fed first but nothing nasty.
