Entally Topshelf - Boz

$9,000.00

11 year old Stockhorse, 14.3hh

Boz has been there done that- competed up to grade 2/95 in eventing, some western and barrels, many many pony club rallies and training days, trail rides everything!

He has good paces and excellent buttons, naturally lazy but moves off your leg very nicely with established leg yields and the buttons are there for shoulder in and travers. He can turn on a dime and would be a ripper in a jump off or around barrels!

Very scopey jump and loves it! Forward to the fence and brave on cross country, handles water, drops, fillers etc very well.

Boz is best described as an overgrown pony, and he will act accordingly! If he thinks he can get away with not doing things he will! He needs a confident handler and rider who isn’t afraid to growl at him when he tests you - think stopping by the gate in the arena, walking off to find grass etc, nothing nasty just testing! As soon as he sees that you’re not rattled by it he gives in easily.

Boz would suit anyone from confident intermediate upwards, he has come back into work easily and doesn’t need to be ridden everyday.

Barefoot, fat on hay, self loads, trail rides alone and no separation anxiety, is bossy in the paddock but not nasty, easy to rug.

Boz has a history of stomach ulcers and keeps a grain free diet with Gastroaid. He is currently exhibiting no signs of ulcers, and is easily maintained.

Price negotiable, home is not.
